What We Collect

WillMyGPURunIt has no accounts and asks for no personal information. The parts you enter into the calculator are processed in your browser to show your results and are not stored on a server. Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Hosting, Security and Analytics

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel automatically processes basic technical information about each request — including your IP address, browser type and the pages you request — in order to deliver the site, keep it secure, and apply rate limits that protect it from abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site as the legal basis for this. This information is handled by our hosting provider and is not used to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.

To understand which pages are popular, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate. It is cookieless — it stores no cookies on your device, does not track you across other sites, and does not identify you individually.

Cookies and Advertising

WillMyGPURunIt does not currently show ads and sets no advertising cookies. The only thing stored on your device is the theme preference described above.

To keep the site free, we plan to introduce advertising served by Google AdSense. If that happens, third-party vendors, including Google, would use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. We will update this policy before ads go live, and where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK or Switzerland) you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set.

Where Data Is Processed

The site is served by Vercel from data centres that may be outside your country, including in the United States. Where EEA/UK data-protection law applies to a transfer, it relies on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses included in our hosting provider's data-processing terms.

Retention

Request logs used for delivery, security and rate limiting are kept only briefly by our hosting provider and are not used to build profiles. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data. Your theme preference stays on your device until you clear your browser storage.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU or UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data concerning you, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. This site stores no personal data about you beyond the short-lived technical logs described above, but you can raise any request or question using the contact below and we will help.

Your Choices

If personalised advertising is introduced, you can opt out at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the site still works without them. For how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google's notice.
